The oil light activates on a vehicle when it is necessary to top up the oil in the reservoir or when the oil needs replacing. To reset the oil light on a Peugeot 206 after a service, do the following: -turn on the ignition; -press the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster; -hold the button until the countdown finishes; -turn off and then turn on the ignition to complete the reset; Once all steps are completed, you can hit the road without issues.

Check the oil level every 3 months.
