To replace the front brake cable on the Piaggio Vespa PX, loosen the screws located at the bottom of the front fairing to free the instrument cluster. By disconnecting the connectors, you can completely remove it and then pull the brake from the lever; this will need to be pulled by accessing from underneath the mudguard and also detached from the corresponding caliper. At this point, the new cable can be inserted into the caliper and secured with the appropriate clip; it should then be routed behind the fork and inserted until it emerges from the back of the instrument cluster. Here, connect it to the lever and reinsert the instrument cluster.
