This guide will show you how to change the transmission oil on a Piaggio Vespa LX 50 scooter. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and begin to unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the transmission cover (on the left), allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes. Next, unscrew the filler cap to let the oil flow out more quickly; then, top up with the correct new oil until it reaches the level indicated in the user and maintenance manual.
