How to change the gearbox oil of the Piaggio Vespa LX 50

Let's go and see the guide that will allow us to replace the transmission oil of the Piaggio Vespa LX 50 scooter. First of all we put our scooter on the central stand and start unscrewing the gear oil vent bolt, which we find under the transmission side crankcase (left), allowing the oil to drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler cap, making the oil drain faster; then top up with the new oil, of the right type, filling up to the level (indicated in the use and maintenance booklet).

How do you change the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS?

The replacement of the engine oil of the BMW R 1200 GS is carried out by loosening the bolts that secure the skid plate positioned in the lower part of the bike. Once this plate has been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the drain plug below, so that the used oil can be collected inside a suitably positioned container. Next to the drain plug you will find the oil filter, which in turn must be extracted and replaced with a new one. After the replacement, it will be possible to top up from the special vent on the crankcase to the left of the bike.
