Today, follow this brief and simple guide to perform the routine maintenance service by changing the engine oil of the Piaggio Vespa 50 LX. First, place your scooter on the centre stand and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing the old oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the filler cap to let the oil flow out more quickly.

At this point, clean the small oil filter before refitting the cap; subsequently, top up using 5w40 or 10w40 oil.
