How do you replace the piston of the Piaggio Zip?

In order to replace the piston of the Piaggio Zip, you need to loosen the screws that secure the engine block inside its housing: after it has been removed from its housing, you can proceed by loosening the screws that hold the cylinder in the upper part of the engine block. By doing so, it will be possible to remove it and locate the piston inside: this can be detached from the connecting rod by removing the retaining ring and sliding out the appropriate pin. In this way, it will be possible to insert the new piston into its seat, and then reassemble all the previously removed components.

Today we will see, in this short and simple guide, how to replace the transmission oil of the Piaggio Vespa Px 125, but also of the Lml Star 125 2-stroke. First of all we put the central stand and we start to unscrew the oil vent bolt of the transmission, which we find on the right side casing; to do this we use a 10 mm socket wrench, letting the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the filler screw, in order to let the oil flow more quickly; then we finally top up, following the video to the end!
