This brief and simple guide will show you how to dismantle and replace the fuel tap on the Piaggio Ciao, as well as on the Si and Garelli models. First, put the central stand down and start by removing the side cover of the bodywork; then, empty the fuel tank by draining the petrol, and unscrew the entire tap using a star-shaped spanner to remove it along with the fuel filter, as shown in the video. At this point, replace and install the new tap with filter, securing it properly; reassemble the side cover and refill the petrol.
