To replace the clock battery on a Piaggio Vespa ET4, loosen the screws that secure the instrument panel to its housing: these will be visible after removing the trim around it. Then, disconnect the connectors at the back and remove the battery from its housing; the new one can then be inserted into the corresponding slot, reconnecting the connectors.

Once the panel is connected, refit it to ensure everything works correctly.
