To replace the belt on a Piaggio Ciao, loosen the screws securing the transmission cover located on the left side of the bike: once this cover is removed, you can access the underlying components. The central nut of the clutch and variator must be loosened to slide the belt out of its seat. This allows you to insert the new replacement parts, reattach the clutch and variator, and then check that everything functions correctly.
