How to Reset the TCAM System on the Polestar 2

This guide shows how to reset the TCAM system, which is the connectivity module of the Polestar 2. This procedure is useful when the vehicle's navigation system loses connectivity and simply restarting the vehicle does not yield significant improvements. From the engine bay, after removing the clips securing the trim panel, disconnect the battery. From the boot, after removing the cover panel and folding down the left rear seat backrest, remove the finish cap and unscrew the 7 mm bolt holding the left trim panel in place; once this element is removed, you can access the auxiliary battery that powers the TCAM system. Disconnect the auxiliary battery and wait a few minutes before reconnecting it to the system. Reconnect the primary battery and restart the vehicle. After starting, the TCAM system should restart normally. If not, it will be necessary to update the firmware to the latest version available on the market.
