Let's look at the reasons why the TPMS light may remain on even though the tires are properly inflated: many cars have a TPMS sensor in the spare tire as well; if this tire is flat, the light will still come on: remember that the pressure in this tire must be higher.

Alternatively, the wheel sensors may have a dead battery: batteries last between 5 and 10 years and cannot be replaced; the sensor must be changed.

It is advisable to change them all, as they were activated together and will all deplete in a short time. The central unit, that is, the TPMS module, can also fail, but it must be diagnosed with professional equipment.

Lastly, powerful electronic devices near the car can interfere with the signal; in this case, simply move away from the source of interference.
