A common issue with the headlights of the Porsche Cayenne is the failure of the Xenon control unit located right under the headlight, which can be purchased aftermarket for a reasonable price, about $130 (the original costs around $375). That said, removing the front headlight is quite simple due to the snap-fit mounting system: once you open the hood, near the edge of the headlight, there is a plastic cap with the headlight and a lock symbol; by removing the cap, you gain access to a nut that, when turned, allows you to release and free the headlight, which can then be pulled out from its housing.
