Replacing the Serpentine Belt on the Dodge RAM 1500

Today, you will learn how to remove and replace the serpentine belt or alternator belt on the Dodge RAM 1500 in this video tutorial. First, open the hood and start loosening the belt tensioner using a 14 mm socket wrench; then disconnect and remove the belt from the various pulleys, as shown in the video. At this point, replace the old belt with a new one of the correct type and original replacement; then insert it between the pulleys and release the tensioner again, ensuring that the belt is properly seated!
