To replace the serpentine belt on a Dodge RAM 1500, open the hood to access the components on the lower left side of the engine block. Here, you will find the serpentine belt routed around the respective pulleys: remove the belt by loosening the center bolt of the pulleys, which will reduce the tension on the belt. Once the belt is removed, you can install the new one around the pulleys, allowing them to be secured again with the nuts on their center bolts.
