Replacing Front Brake Discs and Pads with Calipers

Model: RAM 2500 DM, DC, D1, DH, MK 3, DR - Years 2002-2009

Once the vehicle is lifted on the lift or on suitable jack stands, remove the front wheel; then unscrew the caliper mounting bolts from the bracket, and use a lever between the pads to separate them enough to extract the caliper. Next, remove the old pads and detach the caliper bracket; at this point, you can also remove the disc from the hub and, after cleaning it, install the new disc by holding it in place with a nut. Then proceed to install the new bracket complete with pads and then the new caliper, to which you will connect the brake line. Finally, bleed the system to remove any air bubbles.
