Brake Disc Replacement on the RAM 2500

Model: RAM 2500 BE, BR, MK 2 - Years 1994-2001

To change the discs on your RAM 2500, first lift the vehicle and remove the wheel. Then loosen the two bolts of the brake caliper located inside the disc. After this step, remove the caliper and brake pads. Once the caliper is removed, take out the cotter pin from the hub and use a socket wrench. After removing the hub bolt, also take out the bolts inside the disc that will allow you to detach the disc from the hub. This operation will allow you to fit the new disc onto the hub. Reassemble everything, then you can remount the disc onto the central axle. Tighten the central nut and insert a new cotter pin. Once done, install the caliper with the new pads, and after remounting the wheel, check everything.
