Today, we will see the procedure needed to remove and replace the exterior door handle on the fourth generation Ram 1500. First, open the front door and start by removing the door panel; to do this, take off the various plastic covers and unscrew all the screws on the sides of the panel, disconnecting the electrical connectors of the switch panel and the handle cable. At this point, detach the window mechanism and the metal pin of the handle; then unscrew the side screws with a Torx screwdriver to remove the handle and replace it with the new one!
