This guide shows how to replace the fuel filter on the Dodge RAM 3500 6.7L Mk5. First, lift the vehicle and locate the position of the fuel filter; using a container with a rubber hose, drain the filter from the designated hole. After draining all the fuel, use a 28 mm wrench to unscrew the filter housing. Be cautious of any remaining fuel in the filter. Remove the cartridge and replace it with a new one. Close the housing and clean up any fuel residue. From inside the engine compartment, locate the second fuel filter, replace it, and change its gasket. Start the engine a few times to properly fill the filter housings and perform the reset procedure for the fuel filter life light.
