To replace the rear bumper of a Ram 1500, access the underside of the vehicle and disconnect all connectors attached to the device. Once all these connectors are removed, unscrew the bolts on the underside of the bumper so it can be detached.

When the old bumper is completely removed, connect the connectors to the new bumper and insert it into its housing. Finally, secure it with the previously removed bolts.
