First, disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal. At the base of the battery, there are two bolts to unscrew, and at this point, you can lift and remove the battery. Then, take the new battery and place it in its slot, reattach the bolts at the base, reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative terminal, and finally reposition the rubber cover.
