First you need to remove the emergency key by pressing the small button on the side of the remote control. Then take a pointed object and lever to release the rear cover of the remote control itself. Under the remote control we will find the battery that we can remove and replace with the new CR 2032 model, taking care to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Then close the remote control cover and reinsert the emergency key.

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple.
