If the oil light on the instrument panel of your 2017 RAM 1500 stays on even after you have changed the oil correctly, you need to perform a manual reset. Here's how to do it. First, turn on the ignition and enter the onboard computer menu.

Next, select "Vehicle info" and scroll through the options until you find the one related to the oil life. At this point, select the "Reset" option and confirm the operation.

A few moments later, the reset is successfully completed, and you can exit the menu.
