Resetting the oil change light in a RAM 1500 pickup is very simple. First, ensure you have changed the oil and the corresponding filter. Begin by turning on the instrument cluster, not the engine. Using the directional arrows located on the left side of the steering wheel, scroll down to find the engine oil screen. At this point, press and hold the right arrow button, select "yes," and confirm again with the right arrow. To verify that the procedure was successful, restart the instrument cluster.
