How to Completely Disable Start & Stop on Renault Models

In this video, we can see how to disable the Start & Stop function on Renault models: on the left side of the steering wheel, there is a button panel where the central button is used to activate/deactivate the Start & Stop function, but only for the current journey; upon restarting, everything will return to normal.

If you remove the key and open the bonnet, you will find the battery, where there is a connector on the negative terminal that allows you to permanently disable this function by disconnecting it. It may be white or grey, but the video clearly shows where it is located.

If you disconnect it and get back into the vehicle, turning on the dashboard, you will see that the light on the button comes on, indicating that the service is inactive. On some vehicles, an error message may appear, but we know what causes it.
