How to remove the steering wheel of the Renault Scenic and Megane 2

The removal of the steering wheel on a Renault Scenic 2 or Renault Megane 2 vehicle is a very simple and quick operation to be carried out independently as it requires the use of only two tools: a flat-tipped screwdriver and a 50 mm Torx key. The steps to be taken are also few and quick.

The first step to be taken is to insert the flat-tipped screwdriver into the lower left hole on the steering wheel, moving the screwdriver inside the hole we could release the central body that includes the airbag.

The second step to be taken is to use the Torx key with a 50 insert to unscrew the nut located on the back of the airbag in this way we could remove the steering wheel.
