How to check the Renault injection system: causes and solutions

In this video, we will see what it means when a generic engine light comes on, indicating that there is an issue with the engine management system. Most of the time, the problem is related to the fuel injection system, such as injectors or pumps, but let's see what it is about. The first problem could be a faulty MAP sensor. This sensor monitors the information about the amount of air needed for the engine to function properly, and if it is faulty or disconnected, it could trigger the engine check warning light; another reason could be the differential sensor, which measures the pressure difference between the intake and exhaust of the DPF; if it is not functioning properly, the ECU could think there is a leak in the exhaust system, putting the vehicle into recovery mode. Furthermore, the fuel pump may not be producing enough pressure, causing a loss of power. A faulty battery could also cause this issue. As for the solutions to the various problems, obviously in the case of a faulty MAP sensor, we will need to replace it or reconnect it; the same goes for the pressure sensor and the differential sensor. The fuel pump and starter battery can also be easily replaced, solving the problem.
