Replacement of the differential pressure sensor of the Renault Scenic III.

How to replace the DPF pressure sensor on a Renault Scenic III dCi: the engine loses power and the warning light remains on, the diagnosis reveals an incorrect reading of the DPF differential pressure. The sensor is located under the hood, near the DPF, mounted on a bracket with two rubber hoses (one before and one after the DPF); to have more space, we will need to remove the air hose, then loosen the 7mm bolt that secures it, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the rubber hoses that often break. We can find the new sensor for example on Auto-doc. It with the code 4272S0031 at the price of 26.81 euros + delivery costs of 9.95 euros: we will also need the new rubber hoses, which we will insert on the metal bracket (we hear a click when they are in place) secure the sensor and reconnect the electrical connector. After the repair, the differential pressure returns to normal values, and it is possible to regenerate the DPF, which was previously blocked due to incorrect readings.
