How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Clio

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

Remove the timing belt on a Renault Clio. Lift the car on a column lift and remove the undertray located beneath the vehicle. Next, remove the right wheel arch liner using a screwdriver. Use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Using a socket, unscrew the tensioner pulley bolt, and remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump, the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket. Finally, reinstall the bolts for the wheel arch liner and refit the wheel with the tyre onto the vehicle.
