Position of the VIN number on the Renault Megane III

Model: Renault Megane Megane 3, Megane III - Years 2008-2015
Part: Checks and maintenance

In this video we see where the legal VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is located on the Renault Megane III: the number is located on the inside of the right door, where it meets the bodywork, on the door pillar, but on the front one. It is very difficult to locate and needs to be seen with a flashlight. Remember that this is the legal number, stamped on the chassis, but the same number can also be found on the courtesy plate on the left side of the windshield, on the plate located inside the driver's door, and of course on the registration document, in section 2 under letter E).

How to Remove the Interior Light of a Mini

Remove the interior light of a Mini: use a screwdriver or plastic lever to pry between the cover and the light itself (avoid damaging the headlining), pull the cover out from the panel and disconnect the power connector after removing it. Replace the damaged bulb with a new one (same size and voltage). Refit the light into its housing (push it in with your hands until the metal clips are fully locked). Test the light's functionality before completely refitting the piece.
