However, the reason is quickly explained: the control unit measures the level in real time and shows it to the driver through the digital instrument panel, displayed in %. But this does not mean that the dipstick is not there. For user control, there is the onboard computer, but for oil changes or any other workshop interventions, the dipstick is still there but hidden. It would not make sense to keep it in plain sight, since the measurement is done electronically; it is located deep down, accessible to professionals when they need to verify the exact level after an oil change, or check that the liquid does not have an abnormal appearance.
