How to change the front brake pads of the Renault Captur 1.

In this video, we will see how to change the front brake pads of the Renault Captur 1: first, we open the brake fluid reservoir, then we lift the front of the car and remove the two front wheels. We insert a flat screwdriver into the outer edge of the brake caliper to retract the piston, then we loosen the screws of the upper and lower brackets. Using a zip tie, we secure the caliper to the suspension spring to prevent damage to the brake hose. We remove the anti-noise springs, then we clean the brake pad support with a wire brush. We install the new anti-noise springs; we apply copper grease to the outer part of the pads and place them in position, detach the caliper and put it back in place, reattaching the bracket screws and tightening them to 27Nm. We repeat on the other side, then we reassemble the wheels, lower the car, and close the brake fluid reservoir.
