How to Eliminate Creaks on the Renault Clio V
Model: Renault Clio
Clio V, Clio 5
- Years 2019-2026
In this video, we will see how to remove the annoying creaks heard inside many examples of the Renault Clio V: start with the panel that covers the thickness of the dashboard: once you have removed the side cover, you just need to remove one bolt from underneath, and then it is all clipped in; another piece to lift is the gear gaiter, which we raise using a plastic spatula; inside there are two screws holding the support, which is fixed at the front part of the dashboard; you must be very careful not to break anything, then the piece will come off whole, but you need to watch out for the various electrical connectors. In this video, it is not shown, but after removing all these pieces that normally creak, an adhesive foam tape is fixed that provides a small but sufficient thickness, creating a sort of barrier that prevents the hard plastic pieces - perhaps not assembled in the best way - from rubbing against each other at every little bump.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to Replace the Window Switch Button on a Mercedes C-Class
How do you remove the window switch button located in the driver side door panel of a Mercedes C-Class? This video explains how to proceed. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals in the engine compartment (if you need to disconnect electrical connectors). Use a plastic trim tool to pry between the button and the plastic of the switch panel. Once you have removed the button from the switch panel, install the new button inside (push and lock it into the designated plastic). Test the button to ensure it functions correctly. by ScegliAuto More videos
