First, open the rear hatch, then remove the indicated cover and loosen the upper mounting nut with a 17mm spanner. Next, lift the vehicle, remove the wheel, and after supporting the suspension arm, undo the lower bolt with an 18mm spanner. At this point, simply fully unscrew the upper nut, insert the replacement shock absorber, and follow the reverse procedure. Ensure to slightly compress the suspension before securing the lower end.
