How to Remove the Shock Absorber on a Renault Clio

Carefully learn how to remove the shock absorber on a Renault Clio: loosen the wheel nuts, lift the car on a column lift and remove the wheel. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the screws of the plastic cover located under the wishbone, unscrew the securing bolts of the shock absorber and the bolt of the vertical arm. Now lower the car with the column lift and unscrew the bolt located on the side in the boot, then remove the shock absorber from its housing. Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation: insert the shock absorber into its housing and first tighten all the bolts at the top in the engine bay, then secure the lower part. Bolt the shock absorber to the wheel hub and tighten all bolts with the socket wrench. Finally, reassemble the wheel with the respective nuts.
