Replacement of Gear Knob for Modus

Model: Renault Modus MK 1 - Years 2004-2013

To replace the gear knob, follow the procedure described. Remove the black trim at the base of the gear lever and pull off the leather gaiter; detach the fixing clip from the knob and pull the knob firmly towards you to remove it from the gear lever. If the white plastic inside the knob comes off as well, it is advisable to purchase a new one rather than retrieving it from the old knob. Insert the new knob into the gaiter and place a new fixing clip; after applying the white plastic, reposition the knob on the lever and press firmly to secure it in place. Reapply the black trim and you have finished.
