The immobiliser on the Renault Clio III is a security system that can have known issues. It communicates between the key and the engine control unit (ECU). If the key code is not recognised, the ECU blocks the fuel injection and the vehicle will not start.

In this case, the immobiliser light flashes; if it stays on and the vehicle tries to start but does not, the key code is corrupted. If the light is on and nothing happens, then there is a fault with the UCH (a common problem with the Clio III). There are many companies specialised in repairing these modules; otherwise, the complete UCH+ECU and key set must be replaced!

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
