How to Replace the Number Plate Bulb on a Renault Zoe

Here’s how to replace the number plate light on a Renault Zoe: you will need a W5W or T10 bulb (although the YouTuber used an LED in the video). On either side of the number plate holder, you will see two protruding white pins. Insert a small screwdriver underneath and push it inwards to release the catch. Be careful not to force it to avoid breaking the plastic. Just press the pin towards its housing. Repeat on the other side, and at this point, the bulb holder will be free, allowing you to pull it towards you. Remove the old bulb by pulling it from its base. Pay attention to the orientation; one side of the bulb holder has a small plastic tab. This side must be inserted first into its slot. Before reassembling everything, turn on the lights to ensure it works!
