To reset the automatic gearbox on a Renault Scenic, you need to detach the leather cover that wraps around the selector to access the underlying components. Here, you will find the button that must be pressed to unlock the selector. Once pressed, you will notice that the selector can be moved freely forwards and backwards, until it is in the desired position. After moving it, reattach the gear gaiter to cover the lever again.
