How to Change the Timing Belt on a Renault Clio

Learn how to change the timing belt on a Renault Clio. Lift the car on a jack and remove the right front wheel; remove the right wheel arch liner (take out the plastic rivets). Remove the timing belt cover, use a spanner to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off the pulleys. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the tensioner pulley bolt, then remove the water pump as shown in the video. Fit the new water pump (if removed), the tensioner, and the belt itself, tightening everything with the socket wrench. Refit the wheel arch liner and reassemble the wheel with the tyre on the vehicle.
