Replacing the Timing Belt on a Renault Megane

Prepare to replace the timing belt on a Renault Megane. Lift the car on a column lift, remove the front right wheel and the right wheel arch liner. Once these operations are complete, remove the belt cover (remove the sensor if present). Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioner and slide the belt off its seat. After fitting the new belt, use a spanner to install the tensioner, tension it until the belt has the correct tension (fit both belts). Finally, check the tensioner and the belt itself, and tighten everything with the socket spanner.
