Removing EGR Valve from Renault Espace

Model: Renault Espace MK 3 - Years 1996-2002

In this guide, you will learn how to replace the EGR valve on a Renault Espace. First, open the bonnet of your car and disconnect the battery terminals (positive and negative). Now, use a Torx spanner to unscrew the screws located at the back of the valve: next, detach and unscrew the two screws securing the valve to the exhaust manifold. Use a flexible magnet if needed to retrieve any parts that fall. Remove the metal gasket from your exhaust manifold pipe and take out your EGR valve!
