Removing the Front Wishbone on Renault Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 3, Clio 3, Clio III - Years 2005-2013

Remove the wheel trims from the front wheels, loosen the wheel bolts, and lift the car with a jack (if you have two, use both, one on each side). Unscrew the bolts completely until they are removed. Take off the wheel arch liners by unscrewing their screws. Next, remove the bolts securing the metal plate to the lower chassis. Disassemble this plate. Disconnect the track rod end from the hub. Using an 18 mm socket, unscrew the first bolt related to the wishbone. Proceed with the other nuts and bolts at the wishbone mounting points. Disconnect the wishbone from the hub (if possible, use a puller) and remove it.

If the central locking system of the Volkswagen Golf 4 is not working, it is likely necessary to reset the system: to do this, open the driver's door and detach the side panel of the dashboard next to the steering wheel.
