Removing the Thermostat on a Renault Clio

Is the thermostat on your Renault Clio no longer functioning? Here’s how to remove the thermostat from the engine bay. Lift the front bonnet of the car, locate the plastic engine cover, and remove it. Undo the screws on the thermostat hose cap (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets), pull off the sealing cap, and extract the entire coolant thermostat piece from its housing. Once removed, replace it with a new one, close the housing with the cap, and securely tighten all the securing bolts with all its parts. Ensure the thermostat is correctly inserted and mounted. Refit the various plastic covers at the end of the assembly.
