Replacing the Battery in a Renault Keycard

To begin, press the side button on the keycard to extract the manual key. Once done, use a small flat screwdriver to lever in the central slot of the remote, as shown in the video. This will allow you to remove the small round battery cover, and you can finally extract the battery itself by levering underneath it with a flat screwdriver. It is a CR2032, 3 Volt battery, which you can find at any hardware store. Refit the battery cover by hand and insert the manual key.
