Model: Renault Modus MK 1 - Years 2004-2013
Part: Engine oil
Operation: How to replace oil and filter on Modus

Do we want to change the Renault Modus engine oil? We also see the replacement of the filter. We lift the car on a pillar or jack bridge, unscrew the pin of the oil pan with a socket wrench (after removing the protective plastic panel), let the liquid flow into a container for disposal and screw the pin of the cup at the end of the drain. After removing the oil from the engine, we bring the car to the ground and lift the engine hood, let's put it in safety. We unscrew the worn oil filter and fit a new one. We top up the engine with the new liquid. We measure the oil level several times with the metal dipstick until the ideal measurement is reached. We test the functioning of the car.
