How to Change Oil and Filter on a Modus

Want to change the engine oil of the Renault Modus? Let's also look at replacing the filter. Lift the car on a column lift or jack, unscrew the oil sump plug using a socket wrench (after removing the protective plastic panel), allow the fluid to drain into a disposal container, and screw the sump plug back in after draining. Once the oil is removed from the engine, lower the car and lift the bonnet, securing it. Unscrew the worn oil filter and fit a new one. Top up the engine with new oil. Measure the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until the ideal level is reached. Test the car's operation.
