Under the hood of your car is the plastic engine cover. This cover protects all critical engine components. Removing this cover is easy, as it is not secured with bolts or screws but with simple snap clips. The operation must obviously be carried out with the engine off. This cover is easy to locate because it is located in the center of the engine compartment. To uninstall it, just grab the right and left side of the cover that covers the engine at the same time and lift it. To install, perhaps a new one, just put the lid in its place and push it.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
