How to Remove an Engine Cover

Model: Renault Modus MK 1 - Years 2004-2013

Under the bonnet of your car, you will find the plastic engine cover. This cover protects all critical components of the engine. Removing this cover is easy, as it is not secured with bolts or screws but with simple snap clips. This operation should be performed with the engine off. The cover is easy to locate as it is situated in the centre of the engine bay. To uninstall it, grasp both the right and left sides of the cover and lift it. To install a new one, simply place the cover in position and push it down.
