The oil filter of the Renault Trafic vehicle is located next to the oil drain at the bottom of the vehicle. When the engine oil warning light comes on, it means that the oil level in the reservoir needs to be checked. However, if the light comes on in combination with the maintenance light, it means that the engine oil and the corresponding filter need to be replaced. Today, we will specifically see how to replace the oil filter. We lift the vehicle on jack stands and, using a filter removal wrench, we remove the nut and take out the housing. We remove the filter and replace the gasket along with the filter. We install the housing back in its place and close the nut using the wrench to tighten it.
