How to Change the Engine Oil and Filter in a Renault Trafic

To change the engine oil and filter on a Renault Trafic, position the vehicle on a flat surface and safely lift it to access the underside. Place a container under the oil sump. Remove the filler cap in the engine bay and unscrew the drain plug located under the sump, allowing the used oil to drain completely. Once drained, reinstall the drain plug and proceed to replace the oil filter by unscrewing it from its housing and removing it carefully. Before installing the new filter, apply a thin layer of clean oil to the seal and screw it on. Pour the new engine oil from the upper filler neck, adhering to the specified amount for the engine. Check the level using the dipstick and top up if necessary.
