Replacement of the Ignition Coil

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

If the engine is only running on three cylinders, one possible fault may be with the spark plug coil. To access the coil replacement, remove the engine cover. Disconnect the ignition coil connector and unscrew the two securing bolts with a ratchet, removing them manually to avoid dropping them. Now, you can remove the coil by pulling it upwards. Refit the new coil, ensuring the high-tension connectors are correctly positioned. Reinsert the two securing bolts and reconnect the power connector. Replace the engine cover and perform a functionality test.
