Replacing the Ignition Coil on a Renault Clio

Is the ignition coil on your car due for replacement? Here’s how to replace it on a Renault Clio. Pull the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it in place. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, grasp the coil with your hands and twist it to extract it from the cylinder head. Disconnect the coil's power connector. Connect the wire of the new coil to the electrical terminal and attach the coil to the spark plug. Refit the plastic cover panel that was removed earlier. Start the Clio and check if it works.
