Replacement of Worn Rear Shock Absorbers

Model: Renault Clio Clio 2, MK 2 - Years 1998-2005

For this operation, only an 18mm socket is required. Remove the wheel and unscrew the nut that holds one end of the shock absorber to the vehicle chassis. Use a jack to lift the suspension arm block so it does not fall during the operation, allowing you to unscrew the shock absorber bolt. Unscrew the bolt that holds the shock absorber to the chassis and then the one on the arm using an 18mm ratchet spanner, then remove the worn suspension. Attach the new shock absorber to the base and then to the chassis. Conduct a road test to verify proper operation.
